Hagard Östlin started with the manufacture of balloon whisks in 1946 at the villa located in Sandviken, Sweden. He also made surgeon gear and cooling grates with the help of his wife Aina and their sons Alf and Bert-Ingemar, and later also Bert-Ingemar’s son Peter Östlin. In 1977, Peter and Alf took over the company.
The story went on. That’s where Östlin Storköksprodukter started and slowly but surely grew stronger and bigger in the industry with retained quality and with new solutions and routines. A widening of the range of products was a fact, and a very important step towards the Östlin’s we see today.
2016 the wind took sail and the next generation takes place behind the steering wheel. Here is Malin Millfjärd who shifts the role of captain over the ship and with small changes and small adjustments to a new generation, still with roots and values from before, we’re aiming for the future!
We strive to preserve Hagard’s fine craftsmanship and develop new products but always keep the same high quality and good craftsmanship as strong guidelines for where we are heading next.
